No. The whole point is that VR fitness scales to YOU — you control the intensity by how hard you swing/move/duck. Most first-timers are surprised how much they sweat. Nobody's looking at you; everyone's watching their own screen.
Whatever you'd wear on a brisk walk. The lounge isn't a gym. Athletic shoes help (we'll loan you a pair of grippy socks if you forgot). Bring a water bottle.
We have a restroom you can change in, towels available, and we always have water and dirty sodas ready. Most people just towel off and head home.
No more than your first spin class would feel 'lost.' We do a 15-minute movement intro before your first session. Synth Riders is designed for total beginners — you ride lanes, punch through targets to the beat, and follow ribbons. You'll be moving on rhythm by minute 3.
Real workout. We monitor heart rates. The average Sweat & Soda Tuesday clocks 250-400 calories burned in 35 minutes of Synth Riders, with most people sitting in zone 3-4 the whole block. Full-body, low-impact, more fun than the treadmill — and the cool-down is a dirty soda, not a foam roller.
Probably yes — VR fitness is more adjustable than most gym classes. Tell us in the signup form what you're working with and we'll help you customize blocks. Plenty of seated-friendly games too.
No. The Sweat Pass is 6 sessions you can use across 3 months — come every Tuesday, come every other Tuesday, come twice a week if we add a second night. No minimum, no penalties for skipping.
Pay $99 once and you get 6 Tuesday sessions. The pass is valid for 3 months from the day you buy it — use all 6 in three weeks or spread them across the full quarter, your call. After 3 months, unused sessions expire and the next pass is a brand-new one. No auto-renewal, no subscription.
Yes. $25/night for non-members, $12/night for Bubbler+ members. Pay at the door, get a station — space permitting. The Sweat Pass guarantees a station; drop-ins are first-come-first-served once pass holders are placed (there are only 8 spots/night).
Because the only way to convince you this is a real workout is to make you actually sweat. Show up. We'll prove it. If you don't love it, you walk away and we never see each other again.
